Making a Pledge:

Pledges to Hartford Seminary’s Annual Fund can be made by phone, by mail, or by e-mail. All that we need is your name and the amount you would like to pledge. We will then mail you a pledge acknowledgement letter and periodic pledge reminders. Pledge payments are not due until the close of the fiscal year, June 30. But it is a great help to the Seminary if you pay your pledge as soon as possible so that your dollars can go to work right away. To make your pledge, please contact us at:

Cash:

Gifts and pledge payments can be paid in cash, but we do not recommend that you send cash through the mail. Please feel free to stop by the Institutional Advancement office at any time. You may want to call us at (860) 509-9520 to be sure a staff member will be available.

Checks:

Gifts and pledge payments can be paid by check and can be mailed to us at the following address. Please be sure to indicate if this is an Annual Fund gift or a gift for other purposes.

Credit Card

Credit card gifts and pledge payments can be made by telephone or by mail. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Please call our Institutional Advancement office anytime, day or night, at (860) 509-9520 to make your credit cardgift or pledge payment. If you reach voice mail at this number, please feel free to leave a message. You may also send the required information to us by mail. We will need the following information to process your credit card gift or pledge payment:

Your name
Type of credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover)
Name as it appears on the credit card
Account number
Expiration date
Three digit security code on back of card
Amount of gift
Your daytime telephone number in case we need to contact you

Stock:

Gifts and pledge payments can be made with stock. Please call our Business Office at (860) 509-9525 and our Comptroller will let you know what information is needed in order for us to process a stock gift or pledge payment.
