Accreditation and Association
Hartford Seminary is dually accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges as well as being approved by the Office for Financial and Academic Affairs for Higher Education of the State of Connecticut.
The Seminary is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, and the following degree programs are approved: the Master of Arts and the Doctor of Ministry. Hartford Seminary is an associate member of the Hartford Consortium for Higher Education; the other institutions being: Capital Community College, Central Connecticut State University, Charter Oak State College, Connecticut Public Television and Radio, Goodwin College, Rensselaer at Hartford, University of Saint Joseph, Saint Thomas Seminary, Trinity College, the University of Connecticut, and the University of Hartford.
